뜻파, 웨이브 위파동
- 물리학에서 파동(波動, 영어: wave)은 매질을 통해 운동이나 에너지가 전달되는 현상이다. 에너지는 시간이 지나면 공간상으로 퍼져나가지만 매질 자체는 운동을 매개할 뿐 이동하지 않는다. 그러나 파동은 매질의 존재와 상관없이 정의되어야 한다.
